MyTeacher is the data controller responsible for the personal data you provide through this platform. If you have any questions about how your data is handled, you can reach us through the Contact page available in the app navigation.

Account and profile information: your name, email address, display name, preferred language, and profile settings you choose to save.

Learning activity and progress: the subjects and levels you study, lesson history, course paths you build, outline progress, quiz results, exam results, and achievement badges you earn.

AI conversations and generated content: the prompts and messages you send to AI features, the text, images, and videos the AI generates for you, and the sessions stored in your history.

Uploaded files: documents, images, and other files you upload for AI processing or as part of lessons and the Studio.

Payment and subscription records: when you purchase a plan, we store the payment session, plan key, billing cycle, transaction status, and subscription state. We do not store full card numbers — payment details are handled by our payment providers.

Support and feedback messages: the content of any message you send us through the Contact form, including attachments.

We process your data to provide and personalize your learning experience, to generate AI lessons and answers tailored to your level and language, and to track your progress and award achievements.

We process payment data to manage your subscription, verify purchases, and grant access to paid features.

We use your contact messages to respond to your requests and improve the platform.

The legal bases for this processing are your consent, the performance of a contract (your use of the service), and our legitimate interest in operating and improving MyTeacher.

MyTeacher uses artificial intelligence to generate lessons, quizzes, explanations, images, videos, and chat responses. The inputs you provide (your questions, uploaded files, and learning context) are sent to AI models so they can produce relevant output.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate. You should review and verify important information before relying on it. We do not use your personal conversations to train third-party models beyond what is necessary to deliver the features to you.

MyTeacher uses your browser’s local storage to remember your selected language, theme preferences, sound settings, and to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to third parties.

Base44: provides the hosting, database, authentication, and AI integration infrastructure that powers MyTeacher.

Google: used for sign-in through Google. When you sign in with Google, Google shares the email and profile information you authorize, and your sign-in is subject to Google’s own privacy policy.

Stripe / Wix Payments (Base44 Payments): process subscription payments securely. Card data is collected by the payment provider on its own secure pages and is not stored on our servers.

ElevenLabs: provides text-to-speech voice generation for lessons and audio features.

Email delivery services: used to send you confirmation, support replies, and subscription reminders.

We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (for example, payment records for tax and accounting purposes).

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, receive a copy of your data in a portable format, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the Contact page in the app. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Because some of our processors operate outside your country, your data may be transferred and processed in another country. We take reasonable measures to ensure your data is protected in line with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

MyTeacher is designed for learners of all ages. If you are under the age required in your country to consent to data processing on your own, please ask a parent or guardian to help you create your account and review this policy. We do not knowingly collect more personal data from minors than is necessary to provide the learning service.

We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted authentication, access controls, and row-level security that keeps each user’s data isolated. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard safeguards.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
